Randy’s approach to pool construction is shaped by experience that extends far beyond traditional pool building.
Before founding Pearland Pools, Randy served the City of Pearland as an Assistant Building Official, Plans Examiner, and Code Enforcement Officer. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Chief Stationary Engineer, where he developed hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
That experience gives Randy a rare understanding of what happens behind the finished surface of a pool.
He knows how plumbing should be routed to promote efficient circulation, reliable performance, and easier long-term service. He understands how electrical components should be configured for safety and code compliance. He can identify construction details that may look acceptable initially but could lead to operational problems, unnecessary repairs, or reduced equipment life later.
Many pool contractors understand how to assemble a pool.
Randy understands how the entire system should be planned, engineered, inspected, and built correctly.

In 1999, Randy and Deanna Patro founded Pearland Pools with a simple goal: build exceptional swimming pools with integrity, craftsmanship, and personal service. More than twenty-five years later, that mission has never changed.
What has changed is where life has led us.
When we first built our business in Pearland, Texas, Pearland was a small community with open spaces and a home-town feel. Over the years, the Houston area continued to expand, and the countryside we once loved gradually gave way to miles of city development. After living through several major hurricanes and watching the landscape change around us, we found ourselves longing for something different.
We wanted rolling hills instead of endless concrete. Quiet country roads instead of constant traffic. Wide-open skies instead of crowded skylines.
That search brought us to the Brazos Valley.
